The application seeks permission for the erection of a new agricultural shed for the housing of livestock at the existing rural enterprise at Bryn Celli Ddu, Llanddaniel. The proposed shed would accommodate the dairy cattle herd at Bryn Celli Ddu, providing the necessary space for animals that have been reared away from the farm to be brought back to the site for milking when they come of age. The shed would also provide additional space for livestock, which would improve resilience against the current bovine tuberculosis outbreak on the Isle of Anglesey. The proposed shed would be erected over an existing area of hardstanding within an existing farmyard, in close proximity to other agricultural buildings and features including a slurry lagoon to the north.
