Cadnant Planning Ltd has been commissioned by Hamdden Cefni Ltd to undertake a pre-application consultation (PAC) in respect of proposed development on former Llangefni Golf Course, Llangefni, Anglesey, LL77 7TJ.
We give notice that Hamdden Cefni Ltd is intending to apply for creation of a holiday and leisure park, to include the creation of a new vehicular access from the B5111, erection of facilities building, siting of lodges, glamping pods, creation of hardstanding pitches and internal roads, along with associated works at former Llangefni Golf Course, Llangefni.
Prior to formal submission to the Local Planning Authority and in accordance with the requirements set out in Part 1A of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2016, the proposal will be subject to pre-application consultation.

Proposals to redevelop the vacant, former Llangefni Golf Course to create a high-quality holiday and leisure park, providing short-term holiday accommodation and associated leisure facilities for visitors. In addition to holiday accommodation, the proposals include the erection of a new holiday village facility which will be furnished with a gym, restaurant and café, swimming pool, saunas, offices and amenity space.
The development will include provision for a range of types of holiday accommodation, including the following:
· 93 no. two-bed holiday lodges;
· 29 no. one-bed holiday lodges;
· 6 no. glamping pods; and
· 11 no. caravan and campervan pitches.
The proposals seek to create a modern holiday park which integrates well into the surrounding area, complimented by a comprehensive landscaping plan to include planting of new trees, hedgerows, wildflower and other native vegetation. New sustainable drainage systems will also be created including drainage basins, which will also further enhance biodiversity and benefit wildlife throughout the site. Associated works also include creation of a toilet/shower block, creation of a new access from the B5111 together with internal roads, parking, and waste storage areas.
The development seeks to make use of this vacant land and provide a high-quality tourism and leisure facility, in a sensible location when considering the other existing leisure facilities located just outside of Llangefni, including the Golf Môn Driving Range and Mini Golf and Oriel Môn.
