RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT OF

22 AFFORDABLE DWELLINGS ON LAND ADJOINING PENTREFELIN, HOLYHEAD

Cadnant Planning Ltd has been commissioned by DU Construction Ltd and Clwyd Alyn Housing Association to undertake a pre-application consultation (PAC) in respect of proposed development on land adjoining Pentrefelin, Holyhead.

 

We give notice that DU Construction Ltd and Clwyd Alyn Housing Association are intending to apply for full planning permission for the erection of 22 dwellings together with associated works.

 

Prior to formal submission to the Local Planning Authority and in accordance with the requirements set out in Part 1A of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2016, the proposal will be subject to pre-application consultation.

ABOUT this application

This application is being submitted jointly by DU Construction Ltd, who are a local developer and Clwyd Alyn Housing Association a local registered social landlord.  The dwellings would be built by DU Construction and would be owned and managed by Clwyd Alyn Housing.

 

The proposed development relates to the erection of an affordable housing scheme of 22 dwellings on an allocated housing site (T14) which also benefits from outline planning permission. The application site lies within the development boundary of Holyhead. 

 

The proposed affordable dwellings would comprise of the following mix:

 

•             Eight two-person one-bed flats;

•             10 four-person two-bed houses;

•             Two five-person three-bed houses; and

•             Two Seven-person four-bed house.
